The organizers of the event were left with debts totalling 400.000 Deutschmarks. They initially planned to do another festival in 1971, but were stopped in their effort by a law especially introduced after the event which absolutely forbid ANY further open air music events on the Isle of Fehmarn . This law existed for unbelievable 25 years. It was not until 1995 that the FehmarnFestivalGroup was finally able to get permissions to do their annual revival festivals on Fehmarn.
